Today the voices of youth resound.
Joyfully they praise the one who is born to us.
God's greatest gift, conceived in the Virgin's womb.
He is born into the world, wrapped in rags, and placed in a manger.
From a stable of the lowliest, the Ruler of the highest
Has defeated and despoiled the mightiest of Hel1
Three wise men carne, asking for this infant boy.
Following a precious star, they arrived at Bethlehem,
Adoring Him and placing before Him gold ,frankincense, and myrrh.
Let all clergymen belike those youth,a ndsing as the angels do:
"You have come into the world. I pour out
my praise to You
Therefore, glory be to God in the highest!
Today Christ is born, today the Savior has appeared.

A. donkey goes towards Bethlehem, I remember, I remember,
Laden with chocolate, It carries its chocolate-pot, l remember, I remember, yet I
forget.
Its chocolate mill and its stove.
Mary, Mary, come here running,
Because they are eating up all the chocolate.
Inside the gate of Bethlehem, I remember, I remember,
Gypsies have entered; and from the child which is in the cradle
They have taken the swaddling clothes.
Mary, Mary, come here flying,
Because they are carrying off the swaddling clothes.
A Galician with a straw hat arrives at the gate;
While he was worshipping the Child, a calf ate his sombrero.
Mary, Mary, come here running,
Because the calf is eating the hat,
To comfort the Galician who is here crying.
Riu riu chiu.
Watch over your sheep by the bank.
God protected our lamb from the wolf.
The enraged wolf wanted to bite her,
But Almighty God kept her from harm.
He made her so that she could sinless;
This Virgin was unspotted even by the original sin.

This newborn infant is the invincible king,
Christ the patriarch taken human flesh.
He saved us all by making himself small;
Although he was infinite he became finite.

1. Quem vidistis, pastores?
Whom did you see? Shepherds, tell us!
Proclaim to us: who has appeared on the earth?
We saw the new born child and cho:rs of angels praising the Lord.
Tell us, what have you seen? Announce the Birth of Christ!
2. O magnum myserium
O great mystery, and wondrous sacrament,
That animals should see the new-born Lord lying in their manger.
Blessed is the Virgin whose womb was worthy to bear the Lord Jesus Christ.
3. Gloria in excelsis Deo
Glory to God in the highest! And on earth peace to those of good will.
Sing joyfully to God all the earth; serve the Lord with gladness.
Glory to God in the highest! And on earth peace to those of good will.
Enter into his presence with great joy.
Glory to God in the highest! And on earth peace to those of good will.
Know that the Lord alone is God;
He has made us, and not we ourselves.
Glory to God in the highest! And on earth peace to those of good will.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Rejoice, rejoice; Christ is born of Mary the Virgin--rejoice!
This is the time of grace which we have anticipated;
Let us with devotion offer, in return, songs of joy.
Rejoice, rejoice ...
God is made man and nature stands amazed.
The world has been renewed. Ah! Christ reigns!
Rejoice, rejoice ...
The door of Ezekiel, which was closed, has been opened.
Through it the Light has appeared; salvation is come!
Rejoice, rejoice ...
Therefore, our songs of priase, with stringed instruments and joyous dance,
Shall bless the Lord, our King of salvation!
Rejoice, rejoice ...
