The short Corn Lady Biography:

The Corn Lady grew up in a small town in rural Illinois. Her parents were farmers and naturally they grew corn. From there she developed her love of corn. “Ever since I can remember she always had to have corn with dinner.” (Corn Lady) She just could not get enough of it. “At first I thought there might have been something wrong with her, but she just really loved her corn.” (Corn Lady’s father) Then the Corn Lady went of to learn everything she could about corn. She went to study at the University of Nebraska, where she majored in agricultural science. After that, she was hired by the Farm Food Network, a local cable channel in Illinois, where she hosted a monthly show called "Planting Time." Looking for new experiences and to spread her corn knowledge to others, the Corn Lady decided to move to her current residence in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. From there, the Corn Lady started off by making guest appearances on some local shows. Then, after seeing the Corn Lady on one of these shows, the executive producer at Buttered Toast Productions decided that there weren't enough corn oriented shows out there. After that they began to produce the only show anywhere devoted to corn. The Corn Lady Show was created. And as we say, the rest is history.
