The Creative Spirit Newsletter

December 8, 2001

This week Joan has kindly submitted one of her beautiful poems for our Christmas newsletter.  Thank you so much Joan!  We also have HERE an online Christmas songbook, complete with lyrics and music.  Your children can Email Santa HERE at the official Santa Clause Website.  You will also see a couple more pictures from Dave...but these are from this year, so have no snow.  And if you would like to say 'Merry Christmas' to your friends around the world, you can do so in their own language!  And...as an afterthought, I've resurrected a (published) story I wrote about a spiritual Christmas I spent in New Mexico in 1996.  You can read it HERE.

Blessings............  Cheyenne

Carry a Gift

May the Christmas carols sing in our minds;

may eyes sparkle with light;

May hearts hold the star of Bethlehem

that stood o'er the manger that night.

And may we be wise and carry a gift -

the gift of love that will light

Candles of joy, this festive season,

to make the whole world bright.

May Christmas bring peace to all mankind,

touching everyone,

As we celebrate God's wondrous gift -

the birth of His infant Son.

Quote of the Day

"What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace."
