"The
Soul is Light, the Mind is Light, and the Body is Light - Light of different
grades; it is this relation which connects man with the planets and
stars."
~Hasrat Inayat Khan~
Ascension
Ascension
is enlightenment. It is complete
awareness. It is absolute purity of
the soul. Ascension is true
freedom: freedom from pain, from
suffering, from ignorance. In this
state there is constant ‘witnessing’, inability to sustain anger, lightness
in the body, and spontaneous ‘right action’.
To
escape ignorance--to ascend--requires:
1.
Humility--to change many or all our beliefs.
2.
Desire--to change.
3.
Courage--to challenge and erase those beliefs.
4.
Surrender--to Cosmic Will.
5.
Discipline--to carry this out on a daily basis.
6.
Consistency--to make a choice and stick with it.
7.
Commitment--to do it now.
8.
Purity--of life.
9.
Clarity--of intention.
To
ascend means to reach enlightenment. Enlightenment
is a state of consciousness, attainable to all, where one is free of karma and
free of the enslavement of the senses and instincts.
To
reach enlightenment in the normal course of evolution takes many thousands of
lifetimes. With conscious
attention, however, we may shorten that time considerably.
Techniques such as yoga, mantra meditation, Reiki, Qi Kung, etc. all
contribute to the infusion of Light. The
more Light we emanate from our being, the closer we are to enlightenment.
Regular
daily practice is required to attain enlightenment.
Adherence to a pure lifestyle and diet helps greatly, as well.
Ascension
happens for us all—eventually. It
also happens for our planet Earth. As
individuals approach the point of enlightenment their heightened frequency
assists those around them to move ahead too.
We share in the karma of others when we carry more Light.
We assist the planet to transform itself into the Light body it truly is.
As
humanity collectively approaches global enlightenment there is a stage we must
cross through known by scientists as the ‘phase transition’.
This is a temporary time of chaos—within the individual and within
society. After chaos has been
transcended, we launch into the millennium of 1000 years of peace.
This is a time frame of extremely rapid evolution for the remaining souls
on Earth.
We
are beginning phase transition now.
When
a person has reached enlightenment they are 'awake' in the truest sense of the
word. They are aware of people's motives and hidden agendas, for their
vision is clear. They are strong in character and stand up for what is
right, for the impediments to true strength are gone. They are
compassionate to the human condition, for they have gone through it all to reach
this place. They are wise, for it takes many years of life experience to
reach enlightenment.

journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step"

From
Dave Grant:
"My first profound experience with silence outside of meditation, occurred
several months after I started meditating. I was standing very close to
a teacher of Transcendental Meditation, when suddenly I had a very powerful
experience. It's hard to put into words exactly what I felt, but it was
like an implosion, where everything suddenly came to a standstill. At
first I was confused by the experience, and it was only later, that I began to
understand it, as I compared it to experiences I'd had in meditation.
I came to realize that people who have meditated for a long time, begin to
become imbued with the qualities of the transcendent, and carry this
stillness, silence or calm quality with them wherever they go. And there
are actually several other positive qualities that go hand-in-hand with this
calmness that one begins to radiate. And I think most people can
perceive these in different ways and on different levels.
My second powerful experience of silence occurred several years later as I
approached a meditation retreat, where many people were on an intensive 2 week
long meditation course. Because there were so many people, and because I
arrived during the actual time when they were meditating, I began to
experience that now familiar feeling when I was still a quarter of a
mile or so from the retreat. This time the experience wasn't just
momentary, but actually lasted 15 or 20 minutes before I gradually acclimatized
to the stillness. The whole area surrounding the retreat was effused
with silence. It was palpable for me and I suspect for many others as well."
"Twenty
years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do
than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away
from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover."

From
Cheyhusky
"Let
me attempt to convey what it means to meet someone with extra high
white light energy.
I
believe that all things we perceive within our five senses exist only
temporarily and everyone who perceives high white light energy from someone
like a Reiki Master or a Buddha can have different experiences. I am convinced
that not one person will experience the exact same feelings of light
energy, this I believe to be a personal experience.
From
my own experiences meeting with Reiki Masters, Psychics, Healers and religious
beings I can truly say it is a very powerful and loving feeling, which can
be very euphoric at times. It's as though you feel something
very different is going on and know something has changed you in some way."
There
are 2 ways to spread light; to be a candle,
or the mirror that reflects it."
~ Edith Wharton ~

From
Cheyenne:
"The
first time I met someone who was a strong and pure individual, i.e. they
carried a great deal of Light, I was entranced, yet confused. The energy
they emanated was almost intoxicating and I wanted nothing more than to just
hang around them. It felt so good to be in their presence, but I didn't
understand why. They looked just like everyone you meet on the street so
I knew the difference was not on the outside. But what was it?
After I left the immediate vicinity of this person I felt a sort of
let-down. It seems the positive energy I felt came from them, and not
me.
In
the months to come I began to understand more about this phenomenon. I
read, asked questions, and did my own spiritual techniques regularly. I
could see myself changing right before my eyes. Over the years, others
began to feel Light emanating from me too! What a pleasant
surprise! And yet there can be a downside to carrying so much
Light. Many people will gravitate to me because it feels good to be near
the Light, but when they leave they feel something was 'taken away'. A
person of Light will also inadvertently act like a flashlight in the dark,
shining Light on all the hidden and dark things in anyone around. Though
it is quite unintentional, the recipient may suddenly feel very exposed or
unworthy. This can lead to 'shooting the messenger' (the person of
Light). These experiences have made me stronger in ways I could not have
comprehended all those years ago when I first felt this Light. It has
also inspired me to live a life of relative seclusion, much like a monk.

From
Don Cameron:
"The
lady who I choose as a model is a well-known worker here. She works in very
many different healing modalities and is guided to use the one which most
suits her clients. Her whole being shines and can be clearly seen in her eyes
and her face. Spirit works in many ways through her and she is shown the way
often through signs. She is of Irish descent and has been intuitive since her
childhood. She fascinates everyone who comes into her presence and can enthrall
you with anecdotes of spiritual events in her life. This, along with her
presence, encourages me to move with the flow of events in my life and try not
to get too bogged down in the mire. I honor her as a beacon for the people of
this city and her friends and family around the world."
"Just
because someone can see the Light does not mean they are in the
Light."
