The Creative Spirit Special Newsletter
"What
can we do to help?" People everywhere are asking this
question. It is a part of the human soul to want to help others when we
are in times of distress. Governments around the world are getting their
heads together as they do their part. Celebrities are organizing
fundraisers, and even donning hard hats as they work shoulder-to-shoulder at
Ground Zero. Others are giving blood. Still others donate much
needed clothing, toys, and essential items. The list goes on, as
America, and the global community pitch in to offer whatever kind of help they
can.
Over
the past few days some of us at TCS have been formulating ideas on what we can
offer. The present situation requires resources for those suffering from
this disaster. But the world also needs to stop terrorism--or this could
happen again, anywhere, at any time. As we watch the world's leaders
discuss how they will find the terrorist needles in a haystack, I have asked
myself how we might help that same area.
Beings
of darkness reside in dark places. They cannot be found for they blend
into their dark surroundings. But if one aims a flashlight into those
dark corners, they will be seen, and flushed out into the open. We can
do that.
Everything
is made of energy. Einstein told us that. 'Everything' means just
that, and it especially includes our thoughts and words. When we think
of depressing, unhappy, destructive things, we create a self-fulfilling
prophecy and end up creating more of the same! It causes our energy
field to become gray and dark. But when we put out positive,
life-supporting, healing thoughts we create an atmosphere of Light, peace, and
optimism, and our projected energy becomes quite light--like a beacon.
In other words, we literally create our own reality.
To
augment that energy... to strengthen the Light we emanate when we are in a
positive mood, we can use a magnifier such as prayer, healing techniques,
sacred rituals, etc. When many souls come together in Light they
generate much more than individual pockets of Light. It would be like
placing 500 candles together on one table, rather than having them each
burning in separate locations. The Light becomes visible for great
distances.... and it sheds light into the darkened areas.
I
would like to ask for your suggestions on how we may do this. Do you use
prayer, ritual, sacred teachings, plants, herbs, crystals? If you have
found techniques that have a positive, life-supporting influence, we would
love to have them. Send them to me and I will post everything
possible. I also have many, many techniques to share, and will add these
in a following newsletter.
Blessings.......

In
the meantime, there have been many submissions since the last newsletter and I
will add them here.
