2000 #2
The Summer Sanitarium Tour w/ Metallica, Kid Rock, Powerman 5000, & System of a Down

encore: 4U, blind
NOTES: Korn experienced many techincal problems this night,  Guitar problems, sound problems, you name it and word is that Jonathan performed while sick as he wasn't feeling to well.  Mike Bordin apparenttly messed up the beginning of "Somebody Someone".  Setlist is now confirmed although "South of Heaven" may be out of place.

encore 1: blind
Jam Session: (in the middle of the Metallica set): earache my eye, blind, counting
NOTES: Metallica's James Hetfield injured his back so the other members of Metallica invited members of the other bands to play on Metallica songs.  Metallica's set began with Jason Newstead doing vocals and before long he called out members of Korn and they played "Earache My Eye"  & "Blind"together. Lars played drums on "Blind" & screwed up badly. Then Jon grabbed the mic & Korn played "Counting" on Metallica's equipment.  Brian played on "Nothing Else Matters" and Munky joined in on "Enter Sandman".  We wish James well but what a huge treat for the fans this night!

7/8/00  Kentucky Speedway; Sparta, Kentucky
NOTES: With James Hetfield still out the all star jams continued with Jonathan singing "One" with Metallica.

encore: 4U, blind
NOTES: During the stop in "Clown", where the band usually pauses & Jon looks to the crowd for noise, half of "Make Me Bad" was played instead, and then "Clown" was finished.  Pappa Roach joined the tour at this show.

7/22/00  Brown County Arenal Green Bay, WI

SETLIST: dead, falling away from me, it's on, got the life, ball tongue (lodi dodi), twist, a.d.i.d.a.s., good god, trash, make me bad, clown, shouth of heaven, shoots & ladders, (justin intro), freak on a leash, somebody someone, faget, kill you
encore: 4U. blind
NOTES: the band was on fire this night.  It was vintage Jonathan on "Good God" and "Kill You" with him freaking out like he used to.  "Trash" was fantastic and Jonathan was really into "Clown" smiling and looking for crowd reaction during the song.
Review

8/12/00  Don Haskins Arena; El Paso, TX

8/13/00  Tingley Coliseum; Albuquerque, NM
SETLIST: dead, falling away from me, it's on, got the life, ball tongue (lodi dodi), twist, a.d.i.d.a.s., good god, trash, make me bad, clown, south of heaven, shoots & ladders ("justin" intro/"wicked" intro!), freak on a leash, somebody someone, faget, kill you
encore: 4U, blind
NOTES: Jonathan was apparently pretty talkative this night.  The beginning of "Wicked" was played after the "Justin" intro.  At the end of "4u" Jonathan said "Everyone of you motherfuckers!""Freak On A Leash" was outstanding.

8/16/00  Mississippi Coast Coliseum; Biloxi, MI

8/18/00  Starlake Amphitheater; Pittsburgh, PA

8/19/00  CSU Arena; Clevland, OH

8/20/00  The Palace at Auburn Hills; Detroit, MI
SETLIST: dead, falling away from me, it's on, got the life, twist, ball tongue (lodi dodi), divine (!), a.d.i.d.a.s., good god, trash, make me bad, clown, south of heaven, shoots & ladders (justin intro/wicked), freak on a leash, counting, dead bodies everywhere, somebody someon, NEW SONG (!), faget, kill you
encore: 4U, blind
NOTES: For the final night of the tour Korn added some surprises including "Divine" and the return of "Counting" & "Dead Bodies Everywhere" to the set.  The song played before "Faget" is most likely a new song because it sounded like Korn and not a cover.  At the end of the show Munky stayed on stage & had pig's blood poured over him.  An amazing ending to one of the best Korn tours ever!
