Commonwealth Soccer League
    Commonwealth Soccer League, Inc. (CSL) was established in 1997 and is the greater Fredericksburg area's adult soccer league. The Commonwealth Soccer League is a registered member of the MDCVSA, USSF, USASA, and FIFA. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and growing soccer within our community. League or team sponsorship is available.

NEW Coed Division Forming for Fall 2005

The league is looking to expand for the Fall 2005 season by adding a Coed Division. The division will be open to men 35-and-over and women of any age and will be played in a 7v7 format on a smaller field.

In order to make the division happen, there needs to be a minimum of four teams. Interested parties should contact the league for more information. All players will be required to register with CSL as USASA members.

The Team Registration fee for the Coed  Division is $800. More information can be found by clicking on the "Registration" link above.

-- (8/30/05, 8:52 a.m.) -- The results from divisional game splayed Saturday and Sunday's Marino Cup play have been posted. The Standings for the divisions have also been updated.

The results from Saturday night's indoor soccer exhibition along with team pictures and some details have been posted on the "Pictures" page. It can all be viewed by clicking on the link to the right. The event took place, free of charge, at Fredericksburg Field House and featured members from CSL clubs Arsenal S.C. and FC Spotsylvania.

Results and standings after the first weekend of play  have been posted. Still missing the score for the White Rhinos vs. Deportivo Inter game.

--(8/17/05, 10:39 p.m.) -- CSL TEAMS TAKE ON BRAZILIAN VISITORS --
FC Spotsylvania and Arsenal S.C. will take on a visiting team of Brazilian players in an indoor soccer exhibition on Saturday, Aug. 20 at Fredericksburg Fieldhouse. The first match kicks off at 8:30 p.m. with following games starting at approximately 9:10, 9:50 and 10:30. There is no admission and concessions are available.      This season will also mark the return of the Marino Cup. It is hoped that the in-season tournament will be a regular event during every Fall CSL season. SEMI-ANNUAL MEETING -- The league second semi-annual meeting of the year on Tuesday, July 12 at 8:00 p.m. at the Lee's Hill Community Center located at Cosner Park. Managers are highly encouraged to attend! Directions can by found by clicking on the "Direction" link to the right. Topics on the agenda include discussion of issues that facing the league and the election of officers.
