In Early 1930's era Italy, air pirates, bounty hunters and high flyers of all sorts rule the skies. The most cunning and skilled of these pilots is Porco Rosso, a man cursed with the head of a pig after watching the spirits of the pilots killed in the last air battle he fought in rise to the heavens. He now makes a living taking jobs, such as rescuing those kidnapped by air pirates. Donald Curtis, Porco's rival in the air and in catching the affections of women, provides a constant challenge to the hero, culminating in a hilarious, action packed finale.

this is one of Ghibli's biggest hits to date. Technically, the film is one of the most accomplished Ghibli films, with superb animation and flying sequences.

Director Isao Takahata's moving story of a twenty-something office worker in Tokyo reminds viewers of the importance of closure. Takahata realizes that these mundane situations impact everyone. His open, honest portrayal of such events might help viewers to shed a lot of emotional baggage as well.

　　這是一部由漫畫改編的動畫電影，漫畫本身並沒有太多的興奮點可以映畫化，但是導演高勛在其中加入原創要素，以追憶過去日本六十年代的小學往事為主，將支離破碎的小故事通過回憶串成一氣；同時為了力求真實，通過現實細致的描寫手法，真實再現了過去的社會背景、風氣、流行事物等。主要人物由今井美樹和抑葉敏郎扮演，採用了先錄聲音再配以圖像的方式制作，表情豐富，甚至于笑時臉上的皺紋也很逼真，最後部分幾乎全是兩個人的對話，這種方式對詮釋作品起了很大的作用。雖然背景不盡相同，但小學生的往事總是驚人的相似，每個人或許都能在這部片子找到往昔的回憶。

"Whispers" is an unassuming drama that says everything it wants to say gently - almost too gently. Takahata never strains credibility for one moment - so much that often, his film threatens to become mundane. Thankfully, the script by Miyazaki is carefully constructed so that the film's end somehow manages to build a surprising, emotional force.

女主角月島霞是一個性格開朗的少女，霞的最大興趣是看小說，而霞所讀的書中, 很多的圖書卡上都有一個叫天澤聖司的人名。于是這個名字便留在她的心裡。在幾次的相遇中霞終于知道了聖司真面目，而正當霞開始了解聖司時，聖司卻決定到意大利進修制造小提琴工藝,霞在聖司的感染下開始為自己的將來感到迷惘，于是決定要測試自己的真正實力。但事情並不像想象中那樣簡單,而其中有種種問題困擾著他們。從不斷的測試中兩人更清楚地了解自己，兩人的感情也從幼嫩走向成熟。

　　這個作品是一個真情流露,值得細心欣賞的作品。片中有不少溫謦、真誠的鏡頭,而其中男女主角在閣樓之上有一段小提琴演奏的場景,畫面上男主角右手拉小提琴的動作和左手的指法與真實完全吻合，和音樂配合得絲毫不差。而畫這短短幾分鐘的鏡頭就用了大半年的時間，可見宮崎駿大師對工作的認真態度。

　　有一天，思念媽媽的小梅決定去醫院探望她，卻在途中迷路了，大龍貓會出現幫助小月找回小梅嗎？

這是一個不尋常的早晨。小春被鬧鐘驚醒，眼看就快遲到了，小春匆匆忙忙的趕著上學，可是無情的上課鐘已經響了。小春最不願意的就是在心儀的町田君面前出醜。

　　在好友廣美的掩護下小春準備翹課時，眼看一只貓就快被疾駛的卡車碾過。 千鈞一發 之際，靠著廣美的馬球網拍即時解救了這只貓。而這只貓像人類一樣的向小春行了個禮之後快速的離去，小貓不尋常的動作讓小春驚訝的說不出話來。這一切就是揭開了這個奇妙故事的開端。

　　當天晚上，小春家的門前不知從哪裡聚集了一大群的貓。忽然出現了一列貓行列簇擁著一輛貓車，裡頭坐的正是 貓王 。原來白天小春救的那只貓就是貓王的兒子。貓王來感謝小春搭救自己的恩情，授與小春幸福的宣言，旋即坐著車離去。

　　隔天開始發生了一連串奇妙的事。廣美的家堆滿了馬球網拍，庭院裡也是充滿了貓。學校的鞋箱裡來塞了老鼠們送來的禮物。正當小春面對突如其來的一切而感到愕然時， 貓王 突然現身。表示想招待小春一遊貓國的心意。腦中一片混 亂 的小春，在不知不覺間，接受了成為貓王子LUNE的王妃的約定。

　　這時不知如何是好的小春頭頂上，忽然響起了一個不可思議的聲音。「小春，去找貓事務所」。小春為這聲音所誘惑，和街上的野貓，大肥貓MUTA相遇，而認識了娃娃屋裡的人形貓Baron。而Baron也化身為優雅的男爵貓。

　　進入貓事務所的小春，聽著Baron的夥伴MUTA和大烏鴉TOTO們聽取了事情經過。Baron答應為了小春去一趟貓國。這時事務所傳來一陣敲門聲，因為聽了Baron的話而安心的小春，不疑有他的開了門，沒想到竟來是 貓王！忽然一大群的貓沖入屋內，就這樣小春被帶往了貓國。Baron、和MUTA、TOTO則緊追在後。

　　貓國正籌備著盛大的婚禮。看著此景的小春腦中忽然閃過「也許在貓國生活也不錯」的念頭時，小春的臉上開始長出胡須、耳朵也變成了貓耳。如果不在天亮前逃出貓國的話，小春就會變成真正的貓了。

Plot Outline: A young witch, on her mandatory year of independent life, finds fitting into a new community difficult while she supports herself by running an air courier service.

This film shines brightest when situations force Kiki to tap deep into her creative resources. As Kiki deftly finds solutions to problem after problem, she begins to prove herself, and Miyazaki to us.

Miyazaki at once makes Kiki likable and resourceful, yet occasionally very human - selfish, spiteful and self-doubting. This surprisingly emotional story about the passage into adulthood never feels heavy-headed nor does it put entertainment on the back burner.

This is the first and - according to many anime fans - best of the Studio Ghibli films. The entire film appears like a frightening biological nightmare. While the rest of Princess Nausicaa's people accept man's antagonistic relationship with nature, she realizes it is a mistake. Miyazaki's cautionary parable ends by suggesting that humans are their own worst enemy.

Plot Outline: A community of magical shapeshifting raccoons desperately struggle to prevent their forest home from being destroyed by urban development.

This is a humorous eco-fable by Miyazaki. An absolute joy to watch, "Pom Poko" is not only a way-left-leaning environmental parable, but also a sharp commentary on the power of media and the nature of leadership. Though the film can at times be audacious in its irreverence towards humans, its humor keeps everything in perspective.
