ECONOMY BUILDINGS
Economic buildings are just as important as military buildings. If your economic buildings are destroyed, you have no way to support you military campaigns! However, if you concentrate too much on the economy, you will be overwhelmed by the player who had a perfect balance between economy, and military. So the good player will keep in mind that to win a game you need a perfect balance between economy and military.
Settlement: The settlement is a new idea to the Age Series. Unlike in Age of Empires or Age of Kings, towncenters cannot be built just anywhere. They can only be built on settlements. Settlements also raise your pop cap by 10, making them very important.
Armory: It has the same purpose as the Black Smith in Age of Kings, the Armory provides upgrades for your military units to increase their armor, attack, range, and simular attributes.
Dwarven Foundry: The Dwarven Foundry is unique to the Norse major god Thor. The Dwarven Foundry can be built in the first age, which allows Thor to get armor an age earlier then anyone else. Also, when he is in the Forth Age, he will have one more armor and attack then all the other major gods.
Drop Sites: The Drop Sites 'perform' the same way they perform in AoK, except for some minute differences. For example, the Egyptians are the only Culture that has the same amount of drop sites as the AoK civs...the Greeks have 2 drop sites (combining the gold mine and the lumber camp)...while the Norse have combine all the drop sites into one, mobile drop site.
Egyptian Monuments: Building Monuments are the Egyptian's way of gaining favor. They have 5 types of Monuments, each one is larger then the last, cost more then the last, and gains favor faster then the last. The smallest monument is the Standing Statue, Sitting Statue, Small Sphinx, Large Sphinx, and the largest is the Pyramid.
Greek Wonder: This could either be the Lighthouse of Alexandria (one of the greek wonders), or it could possibly be the 4th age Lighthouse. No word yet on what it does, or if each major god gets a wonder. If each major god gets a wonder, then this is probably Poseidon's Wonder. Zues would no doubt get The Temple of Zues (duh).
Houses: Houses serve the same purpose in AoM as they did in AoK. They increase your population until you reach your population cap (which your population cap isnt permanent  either, settlements increase your population cap by 10).
Town Centers: Town Centers play the same role as they do in AoK, except they can only be built one Settlements, which increases your population by 10...
Markets: The Market is the center of your civilization's Trading. You can buy, sell, and trade food, wood, and gold. Trade Carts also go from market to market giving the owner free gold!
