EGYPTIAN UNITS
The Egyptians get quite a few cavalry units, from the famed (everyone was hoping it would be in AoM) War Ellephant to the Chariot Archers and Camel Riders, the egyptians seem to have numerous cavalry units.
Egyptian Pharoah: This is the Egyptian's version of the Greeks and Norse Hero. While the Norse can have multiple heros (called hersirs), and the Greeks can have up to 4 (in Poseidon's case, 5) heros...the Egyptians can only have 1 Pharoah at a time. However, the Pharoah can empower buildings (which make them be built, produce units, and attack faster. The Pharoah can also banish enemy mythological units (no word yet on what this means, although we will probably find out in the upcoming Set Showcase). Whenever the Pharoah dies, he immediatly 'respawns', so the Egyptians will always have one Pharoah in play (ES also says there is a way you can have two).
Egyptian Priest: The priest has to aspects that the Pharoah has: it can heal units and banish Mythological units. However, the Pharoah is much stronger then the Priest at all of these abilities, and you can have only one (and possibly two) Pharoah at a time. Ra, however, gets a bonus that allows Priest to embower buildings just like the Pharoah can, however, he cannot empower as well as the Pharoah.
Egyptian Camel Rider: Melee Mounted Land Unit, it counters the Cavalry.
Egyptian Chariot Archer: Ranged Mounted Land Unit.
Egyptian War Elephant: Melee Mounted Land Unit.
Egyptian Archer:: Ranged Land Unit.
Egyptian Slinger: Ranged land unit, has a bonus Vs. Infantry..
Egyptian Spearman: Melee land unit, has a bonus Vs. Cavalry
Egyptian Catapult: Ranged land siege unit.
Egyptian Ballista: Ranged land siege unit.
Egyptian Siege Tower: Melee land siege unit.
Egyptian Warship: Ranged naval unit.
Egyptian Warship: Ranged naval unit.
Egyptian Transport Ship: Naval transport unit.
Egyptian Villager: Villagers are the foundation of a civilization. With out villagers, it is impossible for you civilization to excsist. Villagers can harvest resources, and can build buildings. The Egyptians gain favor by building Monuments, so with out the Villager, the Egyptians have no way of gaining favor.
Egyptian Trade Cart: The Trade Cart allows your civilization a means to gather gold for free from other allied or neutral civilizations. It also keeps people from having long, drawn out games with no gold.
Egyptian Fishing Boat: Fishing Boats gather fish from the water and take them back to the dock. They can also build Fishing Traps and harvest food from them, Fishing Traps function the same way farms do.
