NORSE UNITS
The Norse's units rely on the power of numbers, over the power of strength. Ensemble Studios has said that the Norse are like a virus. The advantage of them is they can produce and expand fast, but the disadvantages of them is that they produce and expand fast, or they die. The major difference between the Norse and the Greeks and Egyptians is that the Norse use their infantry to build buildings. There gatherers (not called villagers) are only used to gather resources, and not build buildings. Another major difference is that they need to kill to gain favor, which means they need to be constently on the offense.

Norse Hersir: The Norse Hersir is the Norse's version of the Hero. It is weaker then the Greek's Heros and the Egyptian's Pharoah, but the Hersir can be mass produced. The Hersir (as with the Greek's Heros and the Egyptian Pharoah) excells at killing Mythological Units, and it gets more favor per kill then the other Norse Units.
Norse Ulfsark: The Ulfsark is the most basic unit in the Norse army, it can be produced almost anywhere (from the Long House, the Town Center, a Naval Boat, and even a god power). The Ulfsark is available in first age and onward. The Norse starts out with one which plays the role as the builder and the scouter, since Norse Gatherers cannot build buildings.
Norse Throwing Axemen: The Norse do not have access to any conventional archers, rely on the Throwing Axemen to be their "ranged unit." As with the Frank Throwing Axemen, the Norse Throwing Axemen has a bonus Vs. other infantry, Ensemble Studios has said that during a Norse Vs. Norse game, you will see a lot of Throwing Axemen to counter the Norse's powerful Infantry Tech Tree. Throwing Axemen are upgraded like regular infantry, and not with archer upgrades like they would with the  Greeks or Egyptians.
Norse Huskarl: The Huskarl is the Norse's heavy infantry unit. He is slower then the Ulfsark, but can deal, and recieve, more damage.
Norse Swordsmen: Melee land unit.
Norse Raiding Cavalry: Built from the Stable instead of the Long House, the Raiding Cavalry, as his name implies, is the ideal Raiding Unit. However, the Raiding Cavalry is not good with taking on a enemy army head on. Like all Cavalry units, it occupies more then on population slot.
Norse Heavy Cavalry: Melee mounted land unit.
Norse Siege Tower: Melee Siege land unit. Not much is actually known about this unit.
Norse Battering Ram: Melee Siege land unit. The Norse Ram is unique in the way that it is much cheaper then any of the Greek or Egyptian siege units. the disadvantage is that it also is weaker and doesnt destroy buildings as fast.
Norse Gatherer: Unlike the Greeks or the Egyptians, the Norse Gatherer can only gather resources. Building buildings is reserved to the Norse Infantry, however, the only structure the Gatherer can build is the Farm.
Norse Dwarf: Dwarfs are simular to Gatherers, except they excell at Mining gold, however, they are not as good at gathering food or wood. the Dwarf is produced from the Town Center and requires gold to build.
Norse Trade Cart: Trade Carts give its player the ability to gain gold via trading with an allied or neutral market.
Norse Warship: Ranged naval unit.
Norse Ballista Warship: Ranged siege naval unit. It appears that this Warship has a Ballista on it.
Norse Transport: Naval Transport Unit.
Norse Fishing Boat: Fishing Boats gather food from Fish Patches or Fishing Traps (which function much like farms), they then return the food that they gathered to the Light House. It is believed that the fishing boat is built at the Light House, while the Military Naval Units are produced at the Dock.
