Review of Insatiable
Aussie Smash Hits 2002
The record that Michael Jackson should have made, the first solo release from Darren Hayes combines the so-called King of Pop's almost clinical beats with a soothing melody. It is clear Savage Garden was a two-man show because this single and the forthcoming album, Spin, bear only a slight resemblance to the work of Australia's best-selling group of recent years.

Able to truly do his own thing, Darren has opted for a dancier sound. Even if this song falls more into the ballad category, it is not a slushy slowie but a sexy, sophsticated track. His trademark falsetto gets put to good use on this guaranteed hit. **** (Four stars)
