Episode Guide - 31-40

31. The Eighth Digivice
    Tai returns home and his parents are surprised that he's so glad to see them. Whilst talking with Kari who is now back on the scene, he has suspicions of her being the eighth child, but can't exactly prove it. The eighth digivice winds up being lost due to Miko playing with it and a chase ensues with Izzy and Tentomon battling Raremon as everyone else was asleep.

32. Gatomon Comes Calling
    The search for the eighth child continues and things are really heating up, with time running out. The kids give Joe their phone books except for Tai as he forgot his so he could call up various families to see if they could find the 8th child. Gatomon is also on the scene and meets Kari and she recognizes her as a Digimon. Gatomon follows Kari home and attempts to destroy yet for some reason, she couldn't do it, and ends up leaving, vowing to come back for her again.

33. Out on the Town
    Another argument makes TK and Patamon split up and they run into Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon, two servants of Myotismon who really want to have fun and not find the 8th child. This leads to Myotismon destroying them both and making himself vulnerable to another attack. WereGarurumon is unable to take on Myotismon by himself, yet Angemon arrives to help out, and TK and Patamon resolve their differences. Gatomon has also returned and is waiting for the right moment to strike Kari.

34. The Eighth Child Revealed
    Gatomon's past is finally revealed and when Wizardmon returns with the eighth digivice he found in the Enraki Woods, he tells her the rest of her past. The two find Kari who is revealed to be the eighth child and Gatomon is her partner. Wizardmon and Gatomon return to their base to find the crest, but are attacked by Myotismon. Tai and Greymon appear to help, but are still no match for Myotismon who throws Wizardmon into the river, and kidnaps Gatomon.

35. Flower Power
    Myotismon uses Gatomon to lure out the eighth child, yet he doesn't know that Kari is the one he's looking for, yet his desire grows stronger as he surrounds the Odaiba region with a cloud of dense fog. Dark Tyranomon is summoned to find the child yet Mimi and Togemon get involved, and Togemon finally digivolves to Lillymon and defeats Dark Tyranomon, yet Myotismon has showed up to do battle.

36. City Under Siege
    Myotismon kidnaps children to see which of them is the eighth child and things are getting worse for the DigiDestined. Joe and TK attempt to break through the fog barrier and encounter MegaSeadramon who is guarding the bridge area. Ikkakumon is able to become Zudomon thanks to Joe's crest glowing and get past and into the fogged area. Elsewhere, Phantomon appears with two of his buddies and Kari makes the ultimate sacrifice by giving herself up in order to save everyone.

37. Wizardmon's Gift
    With Kari as his prisoner, Myotismon has everything he needs to take over both worlds, yet Wizardmon returns with Kari's tag and crest and the whole gang appears to take on Myotismon in one last battle. None of the kid's Digimon are strong enough to beat, not even Angemon. When a Grisly Wing attack tries to kill Kari and Gatomon, Wizardmon takes the blow and winds up being killed. Kari's digivice then glows and Gatomon digivolvs to Angewomon and by combining her attacks with the other Digimon, strikes down Myotismon with her Celestial Arrow.

38. Prophecy
    Gennai reveals a strange prophecy due to the fact that the fog has gotten thicker since Myotismon's defeat. Each part of the prophecy comes true, with Myotismon being reborn as VenomMyotismon and begins to destroy everything around him. Angemon and Angewomon shoot arrows of hope and love at Tai and Matt, causing Agumon and Gabumon to warp-digivolve to their Mega levels of WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon.

39. The Battle for Earth
    WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon begin their fight against VemonMyotismon, and when all hope seemed lost, the digivices glowed entrapping the dark lord allowing for the final blow to be struck defeating him once and for all. Yet the sky above them began to warp as the Digital World appeared. The kids and their partners now have to return to the Digital World and fix up the place and also take on their strongest opponents of all....

40. Arrival of the Dark Masters
    Now back in the Digital World, the kids and their Digimon see the mess that lays before them and encounter the Dark Masters, the 4 strongest Digimon of all and each of them gets a shot at the kids, and each time they get defeated by another master, and soon realize that they don't have the thing they need with which to beat them. Piximon returns to inform them of what has to be done, and sacrifices himself so that the kids can escape.
