Rob, Karen, and Cordelia
Rob, Karen, and I met in the English program at Wilfrid Laurier University. At the time, Rob and Karen were just friends. But, after awhile, the rest of us suspected there was more to it. They of course, suspected nothing.
Anyway, the story has a happy ending. You know, marriage, and a baby. They were married in August, 1998 and I happily stood up as one of Rob's groomspeople (aka his sister). In May of 2000, Cordelia Elizabeth came onto the scene.
George and I are quite happy to be Cordelia's Godparents and enjoy seeing her every chance we get (we still like Karen and Rob too).
Our only regret is that we seem to watch crappy movies with Karen and Rob. First it was the Blair Witch Project ("that's an hour and half of my life that I'll never get back"). Then, it was Vampires...good music and cinematography, bad dialogue ("if we don't stop them, they'll be unstoppable").
