Listed below are the occupations currently available to elves of The Call. Take note of how your character's occupation might change due to the circumstances of their journey.

Also, keep your eyes open for new occupations, as this list will grow and change over time!

Occupations

Weaponsmith

Jaelar

This elf fashions spearpoints, arrowheads, and the like out of flint and other materials found on the journey. While they would likely have knowledge of blacksmithing and how to fashion things from 'brightmetal', traveling and lack of equipment have, so far, prevented metalworking.

Scouts

Aurane, Zai, Duskpath, Sandfisher

As the tribe continues it's long journey, the scouts keep an eye out for dangers ahead, for safe campsites and fine, fat herds of game for the hunters. Closed.

Hunters

Griel, Zai, Duskpath, Riv, Quietsong

Responsible for bringing in fresh meat to the tribe, the tribe's hunters are an integral part of Griel's haphazard band. Open.

Warriors

Griel, Jaelar

Guardians, protectors, the tribe's warriors are meant to dispatch any dangers that threaten the tribe, be it man or beast.  Open.

Gatherers

Aurane, Duskpath, Lien

No less important than the hunters, the gatherers collect edible fruits, nuts, roots, etc. to help fill the bellies of the tribe. Open.

Tanner

Quietsong

Unfortunately, the tribal tanner doesn't always have time to truly express their creativity, or work on the creation of fine leathers. The hides are decent enough for wear, ranging from 'average' to 'fine' depending on how often the tribe is currently on the move. Usually, it is the design that suffers the most over the hides. Simple skirts, pants, vests, and boots are the typical clothing of the tribe. Open.

Weaver

Myrna

The Weaver creates baskets and other containers from bark, reeds, grasses, etc. for storage and transportation. However, their skills aren't only limited to baskets. Often, they make ropes, nets, mats, and other woven creations needed by their tribe. Open.

Howlkeeper

Spirit-Teller

While it's debatable whether or not a Wolfrider should draw upon the tales of their past travels, the Howlkeeper uses dreamberries to unite the tribe in soul and mind, or even spouts off a simple legend for the amusement of others!  Closed.

Advisors

These elder elves often aid their chief in making decisions.   Unfortunately, Griel doesn't always follow advice well…
(Closed until appropriate candiates arrive.)

Herbal Healer

Qyrah

Using plants to provide relief from pains, aches and illnesses, the Herbal Healer is always on the lookout for useful remedies on their travels. Closed.

Fishers

WindWhisper, Sandfisher

When food grows scarce, these hunters of the sea can be counted on to bring in a nice catch of juicy fish to add to the stores. Open.
