Posting Rules
- As an active member of The Call, you are expected to post at least once
per week in order to keep the game moving. For your post to be 'counted',
it should be no less than five lines. Should you fail to post for a period
of one month, you will be warned. Should you be warned three times, you will
be removed from the RP and your character written out of the holt. Exceptions
will be made for real life problems, just try to give your holt mistress
a heads up if that's the case!
- Spellcheck your posts, gang. If you have a problem with spelling and grammar,
that's fine, but it's not hard to check things over, is it?
- Close the curtain on all adult scenes! A little hanky panky is all right
(hey, it is an Elfquest holt), but when things start to get dirty,
it's time to wrap things up and give the lucky pair (trio??) a bit of privacy.
- This might as well be covered under posting rules... Don't keep things
hidden from your holt mistress! If you're planning something that could disrupt
the roleplay, or could be in breach of the rules, then I need to know. If
you need your elf in a certain location/or with another elf at a certain
time, give me the heads up and I'll arrange it for you.
Characters and Interaction
New members will be allowed one character for the first two months
of membership-plenty of time to prove yourself to be an active poster! The
maximum number of characters allowed per member is two. If you prove
you can handle another character, there's a possibility you may be
allowed a third.
This is a holt based off of the original elf races of Elfquest. Go-Backs,
Gliders, Wolfriders, Sun Villagers and Sea-Elves only. No dragon-riders,
cat-elves, etc., so on and so forth. Also, no elves raised by humans or
that have been extensively human-friendly. We have one of those already!
Recognitions will be chosen as seen fit by the holt-mistress- meaning names
will be drawn from a hat. Romantic, isn't it? The sex of the cub will also
be random, and players will be informed of Recognition and the gender. While
I am open to suggestions for Recognition, I do reserve the right to refuse
any of them. Recognition will not be forced upon a pair of elves if their
players are unwilling. Also- no twins. End of story.
Active characters will be allowed to lovemate after the initial two-month
trial period. Characters must be Recognized, or have been lovemated for at
least four 'holt years' before they will be allowed to lifemate.
Holt Conflict/Problems
- The Call reserves the right to refuse membership for any reason.
- Keep your conflict out of the roleplay and off of the list. If you
are having problems with another member, contact me if necessary and we will
try to work things out. I'll get in touch with those involved and help resolve
the issue.
- HARASSMENT OF FELLOW MEMBERS WILL NOT BE
TOLERATED.
