We're a haphazard band, with little to define ourselves yet. What few traditions
we have might not be considered 'celebration'. However, time will pass, and
we will change…
Traditions and Festivals
Dancing
A Go-Back tradition that ranges from a mourning ritual to a gleeful celebration,
we gather in a circle and Dance, a good, sturdy weapon in our hand as our
blood pounds through our veins…
A fine night of joining often accompanies this ritual…
Howling
Much like the Go-Back way of 'Dancing', the tribe gathers around the fallen
and mourns them the whole night through. Sadly, without wolf-blood, many
of us are unable to truly 'howl' for the one we have lost.
However, like Dancing, the Howls can be joyous occasions as well, to celebrate
a birth, or Recognition. Often, we merely gather together and listen to our
wolf-blooded Howlkeeper spin tales to amuse us. Now, if only he had more
of those rare dreamberries…
Guarding
While this may seem of little consequence, this has become common enough
over the turns that it could be called 'tradition'. When Griel 'goes out'
to speak to the High One, we of the tribe stand guard over his body, watchful
and ready fight for his safety should the need arise.
