The name of my site comes from the greatest mexican restaurant in recorded history. You guessed it: El Grillo! El Grillo isn't the greatest restaurant because it has fantastic food or because it has a reputation for cleanliness or even a food license. In fact, it probably has none of these things. The reason it's so great is because of the sole fact that it shares a bathroom with a strip club! The infamous Mary's Club. The oldest strip club in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. It's even open 24 hours a day. Got a craving for cheap mexican food and middle to lower class strippers at 2 o'clock in the morning? This is the place for you!
El Grillo is located at one of the greatest blocks in Portland. About Burnside and Broadway. All smashed into one and a half funtastic blocks are the Church of Elvis, Mary's Club, El Grillo and The U.S. Outdoor Store. |
