Here's a quote from Neruda I really like, from White Bee: White bee, you buzz in my soul, drunk with honey, and your flight winds in slow spirals of smoke. I had found some Neruda I really liked on the internet, but then I couldn't find those poems again in book stores. I finally realized I was looking for the W.S. Merwin translation. The others sort of suck. Unfortunately the Merwin is very short and comes with illustrations that closely resemble New Age Hallmark cards about "sharing feelings" -- rounded, wistful, pale men and women surrounded by fruit and wind, done in stereotypical pastels. The medium, I mean, not the colors. Oh Kay, must go
