The Hidden Castle

Once you've found the airship in the "World of Ruin", you should go back to Figaro Castle, where you can find loads of goodies. Talk to the guy in the machine room, and tell him you'd like to move the castle. Afterwards, the guy will tell you that he found something. Say that you'd like to explore and go up the stairs and continue into the dungeon, where there'll be a door which you have never seen before. Enter it, and you'll find an interesting tunnel system. Find your way though it, and you'll eventually find a save point. |
| Continue into the castle and you'll find Odin
sitting on his throne. Simply touch him, and you'll receive your coolest Esper yet. You may have heard from the librarians in the Figaro Castle that the queen should "take 5 steps". Stand in front of the throne to the right and take 5 steps south. You should then hear a sound. Go into the room on the right and though the now opened secret passage. Inside this new room, you'll find a DRAGON and the queen. If you got the Odin Esper, he'll transform into Raen as you touch the queen. |

Go outside again and through the passages on either side of the front door. Inside the left room, you'll find a treasure chest holding a monster. You should fight it as it holds the legendary OFFERING. Go back to the cave, where you'll find a room with another monster holding chest. The Master Pug, who's inside holds the Graedus, a powerful weapon. If you get Locke to steal from it, you can get a Megalixir. |
