on the quest to rid themselves of Naraku because of the
wind tunnel embedded in his hand. It has been passed down
from father to son, and after seeing his father die because
his wind tunnel sucked him up Miroku is scared of tha
t
happening. The only way to stop the cycle is to
kill Naraku.

The reason that Miroku always asks women to bear his
child Is because he wants to have a son so that he can
have the chance to fight Naraku and save the family—
hence the wind tunnel in the hand.
The wind tunnel can be covered with a
cloth and beads.
