the fire ups are a new york noise machine. dissonant rock riffs, chaotic rhythms, and elegant vocal caterwauls are the order of the day. as presented by two ladies and two gentlemen, a live fire ups show is louder than a jet engine.
 

The Fire Ups have played shows with many bands including ...And You Will Know Us By theTrail of Dead, Mudhoney, and Les Savy Fav at Irving Plaza, Warsaw, and Northsix (respectively).

The Fire Ups also played a show at the Crocodile in Seattle. Which was very fun.
