We
here in the Fischer House are looking forward to a better year in
2007. We had a few major bumps in the road this past year - there
was Sean's Melanoma, Aunt Dale's sudden passing and the tragic accident
that claimed Kyle's roommate and friend Andy.
All the news was not bad in 2006, here are some of the highlights
from the past year.

Colleen
continues to teach the third grade in Las Vegas while also earning
a Masters Degree in Curriculum development at UNLV. Scott continues
to work on his Slavic Studies doctorate in Seattle at the University
of Washington. Planning for their upcoming nuptials is almost complete.
The wedding ceremony will be on June 23rd in Las Vegas with a reception
in Erie on July 14th. |

Daniel
graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and landed a great job
at Dick's Sporting Goods corporate office in Pittsburgh. He's currently
in their training program and getting experience in all areas of the
company. He has an apartment in Moon Township - stop in and visit
if you're in the Pittsburgh area! |
 |
Sean
completed the Duathalon at the peninsula this summer. He is in his
third year at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Chemistry
with his eye on medical school upon graduation. He has developed a
passion for rock climbing and now climbs along with his running and
biking. Sean is doing well and continuing to get skin checks every
four months. |
 |
Kyle
graduated with honors from McDowell High School in June and entered
The Ohio State University with his friend Andy P. to major in Journalism.
He hit a major stumbling block with the elevator tragedy, but has
gone back to OSU and finished the first term with great success. Andy
will always be in our hearts and will certainly watch over Kyle. |
 |
Sam
is in the tenth grade at McDowell High School. He played on the Varsity
and Junior Varsity soccer teams this fall and continues to play club
soccer as well. He turned 16 on November 17th and we will be turning
him loose on the streets of Erie - beware! |
 |
Zachary
is in the 8th grade at OLCS (our final year of tuition!). He is playing
soccer and has a renewed interest in running. Zach was part of a trio
that won the choreography award at the school talent contest. We expect
big things from him! |
