Interesting facts

*The Flight Simulator had quite a 36 hours leading up to this show.  Dylan had to attend his college orientation, which he found to be quite unpleasant.  He and Kyle ended up spending the night at my house.  Though I had reservations, this turned out to be really fun.  We went for a really long walk and talked about popular suburban archetecture, curling up for a nap by the roadside, and trading shoes.  The next day I bought my halfstack and keyboard.  Ryan took his mom to a wedding in Minneapolis and had to follow my terrible directions back to Christian's.  I dropped my new keyboard on the road outside Christian's.  Fortunately, it incurred only slight cosmetic damage.

*The Privies did end up playing one song: their prom dance hit, "So Hard."
It was the most moving rendition of that song I've seen them play, and was made especially more poignant by their dedicating it to "the cop outside."

*Dylan left his guitar at Christian's and didn't have it for our next show at Slackers, which was pretty scary.  I'll get more into that with the Slackers synopsis that's forthcoming.
