Top and left: The San Luis Rey de Francia mission.  This mission was the 18th of the twenty-one California Missions and the last mission founded by Fr. Lasuen.  This mission is known as the "King of the Missions" because it was the largest in the chain (and one of the largest buildings in Alta California at the time).  More historical information may be found at the mission website.
