Brian Seitz - Trumpet

From 1999-2001 Brian was the adjunct instructor of trumpet at Illinois Wesleyan University, having received his Bachelor of Music degree from that same institution in 1996. He earned his Master's degree in trumpet performance from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University in 1999, studying with Armando Ghitalla, former principal trumpet of the Boston Symphony. Other instructors have included Marvin Perry, Robert Wood, Jim Wilt, and Steven Eggleston. He has participated in the Round Top Music Festival in Texas, performing under such notable conductors as Robert Spano and Marin Alsop. Brian enjoys performing in and around the Indianapolis area, and has played with the symphonies of Lafayette and Terre Haute. He and his wife Christine enjoy singing in the Indianapolis Arts Chorale, under the direction of Eric Stark. Brian also is an avid sports fan and enjoys the outdoors.
