![]() Kevin holds a Master of Music degree in conducting from the University of Michigan, where he was a student of H. Robert Reynolds. From 1996-1998, he was director of bands for the Westchester Public Schools in Westchester, IL. Kevin was named as the 2001-2002 recipient of the Thelma A. Robinson Award, an award given every two years by the Conductors Guild and the National Federation of Music Clubs. As a trombonist, Kevin is a currently studies with David Jackson at the University of Michigan. He has also studied with H. Dennis Smith at Michigan, Thomas Streeter at Illinois Wesleyan University, and Edward Kleinhammer, retired bass trombonist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Kevin is now the smallest member of the brass quintet. Over the past six years, he has lost weight nearly as fast and Tim, Chris, or Andy have gained it. If his music career doesn’t work out, Kevin will become an Italian swimsuit model.
