I never got to see the Cockney Rejects as a violent clash between skinheads and punks outside the venue before the gig put me off .A friend of mine went and said that it was mayhem from start to finish with the band wanting to fight the crowd all the way through the gig as well as the West Ham hooligans wanting to fight the Derby Lunatic Fringe. So four groups of people wanting to fight in an area the size of a bear pit just didn't appeal.

The Damned..... They set fire to posters of Adam and the Ants saying he was a sell-out and that he wouldn't give one of the bands a drumming job with them.
