What's this all about?
The Church exists in many forms, but there is only one church which the Bible refers to as the Bride of Christ. We on the Gaer are trying to foster a spirit of inter-fellowship co-operation as we minister to the spiritual needs of our community.
- The fellowships that exist in the Gaer are: (please notify about any errors or omissions, further details to follow [this is all from memory])
- St. Martins in The Gaer - near to Hillview (the tower block), an Anglican congregation under the authority of St.Woolos cathedral; currently without a dedicated priest.
- Gaer Baptist Church - at the bottom end of Shakespeare Crescent, a member of the Baptist Union; current encumbent Rev. Ruth Wood.
- Newport Christian Fellowship - just up from the Spar, a NewFrontiers congregation; pastoral responsibility is taken by Francis Davies.
