Galls - The Secret Womb of Nature

A gall is in one sense an irritation, but in another sense, a gall is a sanctuary from all harm.  It all has to do with the perspective from which one comes.  Most literally, a gall is a place on a plant where an organism of some kind (usually an insect) provokes an unusual growth which serves as a temporary home, and sometimes a source of food. I find the idea of a gall to be a poetic inspiration for thoughts about growth and the internal world of the mind.  Imagine life within a gall - would there be the perception of any life outside? Are we in any more informed a position in our little world?  The universe is larger than we can imagine. So, percolate on the concept of the gall and you just might start to consider building a tunnel through the walls that surround you...
