Eternity on Fa'Diel is a Action RPG with a strong emphasis on player customization and multiplayer gameplay. Players create a character with god-like magically fueled powers based on one of 12 unique elements. Eons ago, the Goddess created the world. She bound herself to it by taking the form of a massive mother tree. Every million years, the tree dies, and is reincarnated, along with the Goddess. During one cycle, a meteor struck the tree, splitting it in twain. The pain caused by the death of the tree caused the current Goddess incarnation to be driven insane, but survive while the tree died. The tree regrew and so did the next Goddess, who fought off the old. The new Goddess, blissfully sane, decided that should this event occur again, her power should not be concentrated into one entity. She created 12 elements, each with a portion of her power. The old Goddess has declared war on the new Goddess and her elements. Players fight on the side of the new Goddess in order to return balance to the world.
This game holds particular emotional meaning to me. It was the first original game I wrote. I wrote it over my entire high school career. I maintain it is the only meaningful thing I worked on for that period of time.
