JADA PINKETT SMITH PICS
COMING SOON!!
At 3pm on Thursday Feb 10th, I SAW CATHERINE ZETA-JONES.  Harvard has an all-male theater company called the Hasty Pudding that gives out Woman and Man of the Year Awards to 2 big Hollywood stars each year.  So a crowd of overly eager fans (and an excessively eager non-fan, me) plus a ton of press gathered around the Hasty Pudding building.  A group of Harvard men in drag (in costumes ranging from bumble bees to strippers to 17th century royalty) exited the building.  Then we all cheered fro CZ-J, and she came out with perfectly curled brown hair (I was shocked that hair can look like it does in the movies on a rainy day in reality in Massachusetts), and her typical black suit with white blouse underneath.  And perfect makeup, of course.  She waved a lot, and smiled.  People screamed, “We love you, you’re beautiful.”  A few times, two men in drag would kiss her, one on each cheek.  Then the guys sang a song from their new show, and CZ-J clapped along and danced around.  She seemed really enthusiastic.  After a while of this and “one more wave, Catherine!” she turned and walked back into the building, her perfect hair swinging over her shoulder.  My friend noted that, “She’s really small.”  He helped me get some pictures of the whole affair.  As we turned to leave.  A reporter asked, “Did anyone see Catherine Zeta-Jones?”  I said, “I did,” and she asked me what I thought of it.  I said into the mic and camera (!!) that it was great how she seemed enthusiastic and excited to be here.  The reporter asked why I came to see her, and I said because she’s amazing (slight BS) and because it’s great that Harvard brings celebrities here and we should support that.  Shallow sounding, yes, but it’s freakin’ true.  Yay celebs!
Later that night (for $30), people can see her “roasted” by the Hasty Pudding.  They all have dinner and ask her really hard questions.  Next week, Tim Robbins is coming for Man of the Year.  I can’t wait to see three more years worth of celebrities!
