Randall Dayton, Jim Comparelli & Paul on shore exploration on west side of Dundas Island. This site is an Indian Reservation according to the chart. It was likely an ancient summertime, food gathering camp. This spectacular white shell beach had a protected bay out front with plentiful seafood of all description everywhere.
The mountains in far background are in Alaska.
Whilst north of Prince Rupert,
Randall, Jim & Paul ran the Good Ol’ Boys to the head of Kutzemateen Inlet to view Grizzly Bears at the river estuary foraging on sedge grass in preparation for the annual Salmon run.
At Verney Falls in Lowe Inlet off the side of the Grenville Channel, Brent McHugh, Lee Uhrich & Paul watched schools of Coho Salmon staging to run the falls into the lake behind to spawn. There we observed a Black Bear standing on the rock beside the falls catching Salmon with it’s mouth.
