We will try to accommodate your musical entertainment needs, however, we
can't always make it to every one of them due to our busy schedules. If
you are interested in having the Goodtimers perform for your group or activity,
send us an Email with your request,
visit one of our shows and see us about your request, or phone 1-816-424-6445
any Friday night.
This annual Spring event is held on a Saturday early evening in April or May, following one of our Friday night shows. The entire evening is devoted completely to Gospel Music.
We usually manage to serve about 400 people each year! That translates to chokin' about 100 chickens. With that in mind, coming early will only guarantee having some food and fun. So far, we have never ran out of food, or fun!
For more information, send us an Email, visit one of our shows , or phone 1-816-424-6445 any Friday night.
Grab your sleeping bag and instrument and head for the stars! The Milky Way stars that is.
The Goodtimers started a new event, or function for the group, in 1997. That was our very first campout. It was met with such overwhelming success that it was requested to be an annual event, even before we broke camp the first year! The campout takes place the first weekend in June at Wallace State Park, just a few miles south of Cameron Missouri, off I-35. We usually fill the campground to the maximum so plan early to attend.
As always, the Goodtimers furnished the continental Breakfast Saturday morning and then the meat, beverage and tableware for the potluck style meal on Saturday afternoon. Everyone else brings a covered dish or dessert of some sort.
There is non-stop jammin' going on all day somewhere in the camp. You can always find some music somewhere. On Sunday we meet at 10:00 AM for a time of worship together. Afterwards we have another potluck style meal and break camp to go home. This is such a rewarding time to sit and visit with fellow musicians and "fans". It bonds even tighter the family atmosphere of the Goodtimers.
