A short Goblin-like Creature,Garlic Jr,is the son of Garlic Sr, who once challenged Kami for the throne of God.After the battle for heaven, Galic Sr. is sent in the vast Dead zone where he eventually dies.Wanting to revenge his fathers Death Garlic Jr finds the Dragon Balls in wishes for immortality.In movie 1 Garlic Jr fights Goku,Piccolo,and Kami but is sucked in to his own Dead zone.However unlike his father he was able to survive the dark and cold demension, and returns after Frieza is defeated.Once again he imprisions himself in the Dead zone trying to suck heaven in to it.

Leader of the Ginyu Force, He is the strongest of them all.It is not known if the body he appears in at first is his original form,as he has the power to swap places with people.

A favorite character among fans, Gogita is the fusion of Goku and Vegita without the Potarra earrings. He makes a short appearance in DBZ movie #12, and several more occasions in DBGT. Gogita doesn't waste a moment in battle, quite different from Gotenks and Vegetto who enjoy taking their sweet time.

Son of Goku, he is initially trained by Piccolo after the battle with Radditz. He looks up to Piccolo for being such a great fighter, and trys to immitate him by wearing similar clothes. He has the potential to become the most powerful being in the universe, yet since he cannot always fully utilize his strength, he can be defeated. Gohan is the first Saiya-jin to go SSJ2, but after the Cell saga he spends little time training and focuses on his studies.

The main character of Dragonball, and a substantial role in DBZ, Goku is sent to Earth as an infant so he can prepare it to be sold. He could easily eliminate all life on the planet, but he falls into a ravine and hits his head a a baby. Now with his orders lost, Goku becomes a friendly boy who fights on the side of good. He is not too intelligent, but a natural when it comes to the martial arts and manipulating his Ki. By far, Goku has the most abilities of any of the Z warriors (Cell is the only character with more). He marries Chi-Chi, daughter of Gyuu Mao; and together they have two sons, Gohan and Goten.

Appearing in the very last episode of DBGT, Goku Jr. is the grandson of Pan. He is seen battling Vegita's great-grandson in a tournament. Even with very little Saiya-jin blood, Goku Jr. can still go SSJ like the best of them.

Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi-Chi. He and Trunks spend most of their time together, and are very good friends. Goten exhibited high power when he went Super Saiya-jin at the age of seven. He bears a very strong resemblance of Goku; and wears a miniture version of Goku's karate Gi. Goten is usually happy, but has a habit for throwing tantrums to get something he wants.

Gotenks is the creature that results after Trunks and Goten perform the fusion dance. He has a tendency to over-dramaticize the situation a bit (Alright, a lot), and makes up names for all of his attacks. Since Gotenks is young and naive, he believes that he can defeat anyone. Most of his assaults are incredibily stupid and ineffective, but he'll squeeze in a few that do some damage

Another of North Kaio-sama's pets, Gregory is a small cricket-like creature that can fly very fast. Goku is challenged to hit him on the head with a mallet, but it proves to be quite difficult. Gregory eventually gets what's coming to him.

Ox King appears here and there throughout the series. He knows Kame-sennin because he had trained with Gohan (Goku's foster Grandfather) when Kame was still a pupil of his. We usually get to see him verbally abused by his own daughter Chi-Chi.

little robot with the feature of a dragon radar created by Dr. Myuu. It was found by Gokou, Pan, and Trunks and befriended the crew

Not to be confused with Garlic Jrs henchman, this Ginger was Piccolos driving instructor, when he and Goku were forced by Chichi to get drivers licenses.She seemed very nice and happy, but once
she started driving, she lost it and developed a bad case of road rage.

Giran was one of Gokus opponents in the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai.He used the Guruguru Gum to paralyze Goku.When Goku uses his strength to break the gum, Giran forfeits the fight.

Goku, Pa and Trunks meet this robot, also known as T-2006, on planet Imegga.After Giru eats the Dragon Radar, the heros have no choice but to take him with them.The gang eventually discouvers that Giru is Dr.Muus servant; however, the robot betrays his master to help his new friends.After finding all seven black star dragon ball,they return to earth.Accompanying Trunks back to capsule corporation,Giru meets Vegeta.After learning that Bebi had taken control of Vegeta, Giru attempts to confront him but is destroyed in a Ki blast.Giru doesnt return until the evil Shenrons are defeated and the original Shenron restores all life.

Living by herself in the northern forest, Hakkake taught Chichi to be a good wife.She also provided the Basho Sen that was used to exstinguish the flames that impriisoned Gyuu Maos castle.

The swordsman of Bojacks team, Gokua was very strong being that he was able to fight evenly against Trunks.However, once he transforms into a super saiyan,Gokua is easily defeated.

Blue demon of hell,Gozu hit Goku over the head when Goku attempted to take one of lord Enmas special Fruit.Learning of who Goku was, he decided to have fun with him, pretending to help Goku escape and return to the path of the snake.After playing for a while, his partner Mezu wanted to play also,and Gozu watched Goku compete against him.

Kindly old man, Grandpa Gohan found Goku in the saiyan pod and took him as his own grandson.At first, Gohan was having trouble keeping Goku under control, but accidently dropping him off a clif, Goku became a loving grandson.Teaching Goku the art of Kempo,he was able to awaken some of the power that was within him.Unaware of Gokus transformation when seeing a full moon, Gohan was crushed when Goke transformed.He does return later on in the Dragon Ball series when Goku went to see Uranai Baba, using his only day back on earth to see his grandson.

Defender of Satan city, the Great Saiyaman was the identity Gohan assumed to maintain justice.Constantly performing strange poses to express his power, like the Ginyu Tokusentai, the Great Saiyaman isnt taken seriously at first.When participating in the Tenkaichi Budoukai, Gohan dressed as the Great Saiyaman to avoid being recognized.However when Videl was nearly killed, he transformed into Super Saiyan, which removed the bandana on his head.When competing against Kibito,Gohan was reconized.

Identity Videl appeared after she joined Gohan, fighting crime in Satan city.She only appears as the great saiyaman 2 once in the series and in movie 13.
