| Kanaasan (Kanaasaseijin) - These are the inhabitants of the planet that Bardock and his team destroy in the opening sequence of the first DBZ TV Special. They have the special ability to see the future. |

| Shamon (Shamoseijin) - This is the race that Paragus used as slaves on the fake planet Vegeta, there planet was blown up right before there eyes by Brolly |
| Arlian (Arliaseijin) - This is the race that Vegeta and Nappa come across on their trip to earth. Vegeta is disgusted with their planet so he destroys it. |

| Saiyan (Saiyajin) - This is the race of people who come from the planet Vegeta. There are natural born warriors, always looking for a fight. Freeza made this race his hands and feet, using them to clear out a planet so he could sell it. Saiyans are born with a tail, and after absorbing enough brute wave force, they can go Oozaru. Some Saiyan even have the power to go Super Saiyan, which is one of the most strongest transformation among any race. |

| Nameckan (Namekkuseijin) - This is the race from the planet Nameck. There a peaceful race, and they asexually produce, meaning they do not need a male and female, they just have one, genderless Nameck, who shoots out an egg. There are two types of Nameckans, the warrior type, and the healing type. The warrior type have a natural affinity and power to fight, while the healer type can heal a person back from the brink of death. Approximately 14% of the Nameckan race on Nameck is warrior type, and 86% is the healing type. |

| Tsufuran (Tsufurujin) - This is the race of people that used to live on Vegeta, they had advanced technology, but this was not enough to win the battle against the Saiyajin. |

| Android (Jinzouningen) - These are robots, or half robots, who are created by another person. They usually do not have a ki that can be sensed by their opponent, which is very dangerous. They can be 100% made of metal and robotic parts, or they can have no metal or robotic parts, they could have been engineered through bio genetics |

| Shenron - This is the "Eternal Dragon" This dragon can grant your wish once summoned by the dragon balls. There are two types of Shenrons, the Shenron of earth, and the Nameckan Shenron, whose name is Porunga. |
