Zodiac walked about the gradens on Eden. Her first trip home, since the Moon Kingom had taken her. She felt as if she would burst with joy,but something knawed inside her. She heard someone call her name. Spinning around Zodiac threw her arms up in a fighting stance. To her surprise no one was there, a rose had fallen.
Another sin commeted? Zodiac wondered.
"Yes, a sin. Earth's end draws close," a voice said. Zodiac looked about, something stirred inside her. What is this feeling? Zodiac asked herself.
"Fear, your scared. You've never been scared before; even when you went to the Moon Kingdom you weren't scared," the voice said.
"What would you know about me," snapped Zodiac.
"You fell in love with Merik, your weak and you know it. Fear, love, your weak because of those," the voice mocked.
Zodiac sat down in the middle of the roses. She sat there for a long time before she said anything.
"Love makes you stronge because you know someone is always there for you. Fear lets you know your weakness so you can grow stornger and improve," Zodiac told the voice.
"When your dead in battle don't come crying to me," the voice snapped,"Oh well you are stronger then I thought, have fun."
A silver star locket with wings landed next to Zodiac. When she picked it up words came spilling out of her mouth, "EDEN PLANET POWER, MAKE UP!"
She felt energy gliding thorough her, a pain grew in her, when she placed her hand on her back she felt wings. She ran to the pond, her reflection amazed her. She had silver wings like an angel. Her hair was longer and shiner, the star still held it up in two ponytails. She was taller and more devolped. I am no longer a child, I look like a lady, she thought.
Zodiac ran towards the old lady's house, she would know what to do. Her wings begged to fly, she spread her wings and took flight. A glourios feeling greeted her, the wind rushed at her. She felt as if she owned the sky.
Screams came from the direction the old lady's house was.
"Grandma," whispered Zodiac. She held her hand out and a sowrd appeared there. Stars and planets were etched in it's blade. The hilt was made of a crystal the color of stars. Zodiac flew quickly to the old lady's house. She landed in the clearing infront of the house.
Zodiac's nose twitched, she smelled blood and lots of it. Grandma lay on the ground, she looked like a puppet that had been snapped in half. Behind her stood a creature with arms that reached the ground, and teeth like saber tusks. The creature kept changing colors.
Zodiac knew right away the creature was evil. She raised her sword sideways infront of her.
"Looks like you hurt Grandma, on behalf of Eden, Sailor Zodiac wont let you get away with it. NOW FIGHT!"
As she screamed the last to words she lunged at the creature. She kept her sword infront of her.
The creature blasted dark energy at Zodiac; her sword just sliced right thorough the energy. With one graceful swoop she sliced of the creatures head. It howled as it turned to dust. In the place where it had been standing was a note.
Zodiac knelt down and picked up the note.
"She's coming, stay out of the way"
Zodiac crumbled the note up and threw it into the woods. She walked over to Grandma. The old lady looked up at her.
"Zodiac, child how you have grown. Your a true warrior now, I can help you hide your wings." The old lady put a necklace around Zodiac's neck. Zodiac could still feel her wings but all she said was,"Thank you Grandma, old lady please don't leave me."
The old lady smiled, something in her eye flickered and faded. She had breathed her last breath. Zodiac therw her back and screamed a scream the shook all of Eden.
Zodiac woke up, she looked around trying to get figure out where she was. It hit her all at once Grandma's died, was all Zodiac could think. She was in a room, there was one door. She therw open the door and froze, she was in the Moon Kingdom.
I've got to find Queen Serenity she thought as she ran down the hall. Zodiac could see the door to Queen Serenity's office just ahead. Please be there she begged silently.
Zodiac flung open the door, Queen Serenity and two generals from Earth looked up at her. The had been looking at map of the Solar System.
"Please," Zodiac begged,"Eden, I need to go back to Eden."
Queen Serenity looked at the map, "Eden is gone, so are the Earthians. All wiped out." Queen Serenity started crying. One of the generals looked at Zodiac.
"It's war time, we need you," he said sadly. Zodiac's world changed that day.
