My Tubal Reversal Story Page 16 |
11 March 2002 24 Weeks 1 Day Oh, man am I in a mood today! Must be these out-of-whack hormones! Everyone is pissing me off, Curtis, Shelley, you name it. I have to get my attitude in check here real soon! This weekend was loooong! We rented movies most of the weekend. I worked on one of the baby blankets I am making, but even that got old fast. Bean has been very active this morning, which is nice. She was all wiggles when I laid down to read last night before bed! That seems to be the time she is most active, right when I am going to bed. The books say if she was born now, she would have a 5-25% chance of surviving, and by 28 weeks, it is 85%! So, each day is a blessing! My book also said my uterus should be the size of a soccer ball by now, but it doesn't seem that way to me, which doesn't surprise me since I have never gotten huge while pregnant. The doc assures me I am measuring fine, so I can't stress out about it. 20 March 2002 25 Weeks 3 Days Oh boy, talk about a change of opinion! I went from thinking my belly wasn't growing enough to now I feel like I DID swallow a bowling ball! I seem to have popped out, especially in the upper part of my tummy, overnight! Jon thinks it is funny, he says I am going to be more than ready to have this baby by the time June gets here! A little over 12 weeks and it will be c-section day. Wow, in some ways the time has flown, but in others it has absolutely dragged by! 29 March 2002 26 Weeks 5 Days Well, I have wonderful news! As you know, at the beginning of this pregnancy I went through all of the problems with the mass in my heart. I had been going to the cardiologist every other week, then every 3 months, and my most recent appointment was on Wednesday of this week. I have officially been released from the cardiologist! He only wants to see me "as needed!" I got a little bonus while I was there for my echo, too. Desiree, the ultrasound tech, sneaked and looked at Bean for about 5 minutes with the ultrasound! She said she wasn't supposed to be doing that, but it was sure nice to have another peek at my little girl! We saw her face (pretty squished now), arms, hands, legs, knees, head, spine, and the cord. She is still breech, which is not surprising!! Only 11 more weeks and we get to meet her in person! |
