I am really of the opinion that we should make the shooting/barbecue thing an annual event! It was fun even though I didn't get to shoot. Since at this point, loud noises can startle Bean, we figured it was safer for me not to shoot. As it was, with the guys shooting, she was going nuts and Mom and Jon both saw her raising heck through my shirt!

30 Weeks 4 Days
What a wonderful surprise! Curtis left yesterday and won't be back till either tomorrow or Monday. Ahhhhh. :) I just really don't have a lot to do with Tatia learning my stuff, and man how boring it gets when he is here! Looking busy is harder than actually just being busy!!
No real big news today. Just doing my eating, drinking and resting as much as I can. Sitting at the computer is really aggravating the numbness in my right leg, so I get up to walk around frequently. Brought my book in preparation for being bored today, so maybe I will kick my legs up and read for a while. I know, it is sad to be like this at work, but it really is more important for Tatia to get to the point that she is comfortable doing the things I normally do.

31 Weeks 2 Days
My doctor visit went well yesterday. Are you ready...I gained 7 pounds in 2 weeks! Ugh! My, from losing weight to packing it on! The doctor was happy, as was Jon, so I am not complaining. Anyway, Bean has also caught up on size - fundal height was 31 cm, up 4 cm from 2 weeks ago, which means she is right back on track. My cervix is still the same as 2 weeks ago, so the doc said to continue doing what I have been doing. So, cool! Makes me feel better that all this sitting around and resting has actually done some good, since I have been going stir crazy!
This weekend is my shower at Jackie's. I think it will be fun to get everyone together, even though it will be a small group. Terrie is coming, that is cool, and my mom will be there, as well as Michelle, hopefully Ginger and Shaela, and a few more. Right now I am ready for the weekend, I am just so tired. Last night was bad as far as the comfort factor - I just could not get comfortable no matter what I did! It seems like that 4 cm Bean grew went right up and is pressing on my lungs. It is hard to breathe and my ribs rest right on top of my uterus when I sit down. Finally Jon got me a bed pillow to put behind the small of my back last night in the recliner, and that made it a little better. I just cannot imagine another 6 1/2 weeks of getting bigger and more uncomfortable. Maybe if she turns head down she will drop and I will get some relief from the lungs and ribs in a few weeks.
Last night, neither of us could tell what way she was lying. Something round, head or butt probably, kept popping up on the left side of my belly button, and it was quite uncomfortable! I was really glad when it was time to go to bed, at least lying down makes it more manageable! Sure can't wait to have this little girl out in the big world!
