CD REVIEW:
"The Independent labels are full of talented country musicians. One fine band, from Johnson City, New York, High Noon's first CD, "Cowote" is phenominal. The opening track, "Carolina Dancer" is written by lead singer, bass player and the voice of High Noon, Joey Campo (Campizzi). Joey is a fun loving performer and an excellent musician. "Carolina Dancer" shows both of these talents. Joey also has penned "A Million Miles Away", a fast cha-cha that makes you want to get up and dance. The fast moving and fun "Bad Boy" was written by (Brother) Vincent Campo. Completing the family involvement in this project, "Say You'll Be Mine" was written by Joe Campo, Sr. in 1947. This post World War II song is a sweet love song that Joey must be singing to his sweetheart. Sadly, Joe Sr and Vincent Campo were not able to hear these wonderful renditions of their songs. The group added two covers to the album, "I Brake For Brunettes" (Ramos/Akins) and Randall S. Newman's sexy "You Can Leave Your Hat On".

Kim Baldwin,
Who has always been a great BIG help supporting & even helpin' us to
book jobs at new clubs such as "The Hitchin' Post" & "Country Rock Cafe",
very sadly Passed away this week unexpectedly & untimely.
She was with us (The Band, George, April & her dance partners) just this past Saturday
at Tioga Trails Cafe' dancing gracefully as usual,
making us play all the tunes she made us learn, and always hand picking
the perfect songs for us, ie "Save a Horse" & "Your Man"!
We send our deepest sympathy & love to all of Kim's Family and Friends,
for we will miss her so very much.
Looking onto the hardwood dancefloor
will never be the same,
Shining up to Heaven, A spotlight
in her memory, will aim......
