Dave has been with the station nearly as long as it has been in existence, he joined at the end of 1967 and like Tony Blackburn, has broadcast in most of the main time slots.  Currently he broadcasts from 11.30-2:00pm every day and when he is not broadcasting, he is looking after his two dogs, two cats, four sheep, one wife on a small farm in Buckinghamshire.

< On Radio 1's 5th birthday, balloons were launched in celebration.  Setting them free on the roof of Broadcasting House, Johnny Moran, Alan Freeman, DLT, Noel Edmonds and Tony Blackburn.
