1990 - FM Radio was the new trend in modern radio.  After simulcasting on FM(VHF) and MW/AM for some much time, a new network on AM only (BBC Radio 5) was to be established, and the aim was to provide 100% FM coverage for Radio 1.  This leaflet announced the plans to the nation and, for those that didn't know, gave facts and schedules for the BBC's flagship pop station.

Don't forget to click the first link below to see the frequency range map as also featured in the leaflet.  Separate page created to save page loading times (a bit!).  Sorry! We feel this leaflet should be seen for itself, rather than the text type copied only!
