EGYPT

This is a picture of me & Sabrina riding camels in Dahab.  Dahab is across the Sinai peninsula, on the Gulf of Aqaba.  It's a wonderful resort town, but you can always find beduin children to take you on camel rides.  Only English he knew was that Sabrina's camel was named Michael Jackson...

The guy with Sabrina is Tutu, her boyfriend.  They met at a party at the Egyptian embassy.  Thanks to Tutu we got to get to know a lot of "true" Egyptians.

This is me & Carica at a mall on my birthday.  Carica was one of my good friends in Cairo.  He's a DJ at clubs, dancer in plays & music videos, and rapper on TV & just a little bit famous in the city...

Here are me & Sabrina with famous Egyptian actor, Ahmed el-Sakka.  He's the hottest thing in Cairo right now.  Thanks to Carica who dances in one of his plays, we were able to meet & hang out with this star a little.

For Halloween, the American Embassy through a big costume party.  We went as the Pink Ladies from Grease (of course we had a John Travolta...)  From left to right is Sabrina, Maggie, Joe, me, & Natalie.  Maggie was one of my good friends in Cairo & Joe was my friend from Middlebury.  Our costumes were a hit :)

This is me feeding the cats at AUC.  In Egypt, cats are like squirrels!  They are wild & everywhere!
