Age: 18
Ayeka is the first princess of the planet Jurai. When her planet was nearly destroyed by Ryoko, Ayeka's half-brother and fiance Yosho decided to chase after Ryoko and bring her to justice. Ayeka was heartbroken by her brother's departure, so she decided to chase after him as well. After 700 years in suspended animation, Ayeka finally found Ryoko and Yosho. Now, Yosho has become an old man, so Ayeka falls in love with Yosho's grandson Tenchi.
Ayeka is a bitter rival of Ryoko, and they fight constantly for Tenchi's affection.
Why do we like Ayeka?
Ayeka has been restrained by her duties as the first crown princess of Jurai's royal family. She has to overcome so many obstacles to win over Tenchi like her father Azusa and Ryoko. Ayeka also has kind of a split personality, the gentle princess and the shrieking shrew.
