Adalia Adelie

I'm sorry to say that Adalia is no longer with the IPA. Although we will continue to keep her on the site and member listing. We just hope that she returns one day.

Adalia woke up about three years ago in the middle of the African Savannah. She had been sick about six months with malaria and then sleeping sickness. She had been found by lions and Rafiki the baboon had taken care of her. Lia learned the ways of the wild and somehow knew the languages of all the animals. She found a cheetah cub that had been orphaned.

She raised him and named him Quito (short for poquito, Spanish for a little bit). Lia learned to pray and got very close to God. She learned to send her spirit towards heaven. Whenever she does this a light emanates from her forehead in the shape of a cross. She learned to make her own flutes and to play them. She becomes a kind of doctor in the Pride Lands. She later learns how to use a bow and arrow, then a saber. Later Lia found what she calls a time and space warp. These are spots that few people really can tell are there and really get caught in, but can be used to travel.

Sometimes Lia accidentally gets caught by one and has to find another one to get back where she was. She keeps getting followed by Quito, and sometimes other characters. Sometimes she has to take characters back to their homes. Stories Adalia bumps into include: pre- and post-Lord of the Rings, medieval and Renaissance England, barbaric Norway, and Ancient Greece with Hercules. She starts out trying to figure out who she is, but eventuallygets comfortable with her anonymity. She is sometimes mistaken for other people or for an elf or a fairy. She once got thrown to the lions in ancient Rome for refusing to marry the Emperor.
