A CHILD'S LOVE
These children are happy all of the time As I watch them, I know it is a sign The laughter that they possess, is hard to describe No worries, no fears; always alive Some climb the steps and enjoy the slide Two others on the teeter-totter, just love the ride The little girl with curls, attempts the climber With a little boy following, right behind her In the tunnel they go, as the screaming begins One boy pretends he's a ghost, howling within There goes my daughter, sitting on the swing "Give me an underdog, Daddy?" she asks, "I love those things." Nicole climbs the monkey bars, with ease As Olivia pleads again, "Higher, please?" These children have given me a reason to live Because of the love and the joy that they give The next time you see them, give them a hug Because they have us the greatest gift of all... LOVE
