A FLOWER JUST FOR YOU

God gave them to us, to make the world a better place
We enjoy them, as they put a smile on our face
Tulips come from Holland, in a variety of shades
Their petals are symetrical, as if they were handmade
Daisies are so white, with just a spot of yellow
They are so dainty, coming from that special fellow
Orchids are erotic, in their hues of pink and white
The look on her face is worth it, on that prom night
Daffodils are so different, with their petals being so wide
Looking at them stand so tall, symbolizing their pride
Carnations have such an aromatic scent
At times they make me wonder, where the day went
Chrysantymums are so joyous, they seem to show the way
Symbolizing the special flower to give on Mother`s Day
But my favourite flower in the world, has got to be the rose
It is such a work of art, as everyone knows
Its thorns are sharp as a needle, sticking out from its stem
Yet its petals are sewn to perfection, as a dress to a hem
I believe of all the flowers, the rose is a symbol of love
Because when you receive one, there is no greater feeling above
It does not matter which flower it is, because there are quite a few
But remember the thought behind each one, for it was ...
