A PRECIOUS LIFE


The most precious gift we can have, is life
We must live each day to the fullest
When the skies are grey, we must bring out the sun
When we are unhappy, we must try to smile
For those of us that find it hard to do, we must try harder
We all have those days when we hurt
We must look to the future and let go of the past
Cherish our friends because they stand beside us
A shoulder to lean on and ears to listen
Life was worry free when we were inside the womb
The inner walls protected us from every danger
But when we enter the world, there is a new adventure every day
With our first steps and words we keep learning
Slowly our heart allows us to learn to love
Then the bond shows us trust
We form that special bond between two people
Our body and soul become one
Then the most special thing will happen
The chain of life will continue again...
