I remember that special day that you came into our lives
With love, you were conceived by me and your mom, my wife
From the day that you were born, you have brought everlasting joy
Since that special day, we held you as if you were a toy
To us you were so special and had such cute little feet
Your beauriful eyes, soft skin and your hair so neat
You would always make us laugh and smile forever
Each moment you are with us is a moment we will treasure
When looking in your eyes we see a shimmering light
They remind us of a star in the sky so bright
The smile you have is from ear to ear
When you are sick or unhappy, we shed a tear
We want to take away the pain and hold you so close
It is these times that you will need us most
You are so precious and dear to our heart
As we both knew that from the very start
Because of you, our lives are so full of love
We thank the Lord for sending us YOU...
