The Blooming of a Day
The sun shines down on the ground below The seed germinates, as the soil has been hoed Day by day, the stem shoots up Growing, as a dog did, as a pup The leaves start to sprout, a little at a time As it is Spring's way of giving us a sign The ROSE starts to bloom, in the sunlight The bees pollinate, as the day becomes bright Then the miracle begins, as it enhances The scent of the ROSE, takes its stance The red petals open, yet ever so wide Just the sight of the flower, brings a warmth inside So take a simple moment and do not step away Or you may just miss... THE BLOOMING OF A DAY
